new tunes

I happened to stumble across this artist as a result of a brilliant cover of Britney Spears' "Womanizer". I'm fairly sure Sliimy is male, but his beautiful voice sounds rather girly. Reminds me quite a bit of Lily Allen and Kate Nash, who are ironically number 1 and 2 on his myspace top friends. I wish I knew how to add his music to this post.

Girl, indoors.

Winter is here, and with a vengeance. I'm bored as hell and stuck in the house with nothing to do. Here is a list I've compiled of things I miss about summertime:

1. Long days and plentiful sunshine

2. Carnivals

Who doesn't love that carnie with the blonde mullet that operates The Zipper while blasting Pantera, smoking Reds, and rocking the midriff tank top and cutoffs?!

3. Concerts and Festivals

Lollapalooza, anyone?

4. My July birthday

Enough said.

5. Camping

Friends, beer, fire, nature.

Now, five things I don't miss about summer:

1. 100 degree heat and humidity

2. Having to shave almost daily

3. Mosquitos

4. Swamp ass

5. Being stuck indoors at work
