Here are some detail images of my most recent oil paintings. These paintings have been a wonderful experiment with color, and I plan on continuing in this vein for the time being. The first and third pieces are done almost completely with a palette knife, and the middle has been created primarily with a paintbrush and lots of mineral spirits. These pieces involve many layers of thick paint, and therefore require a very long drying period!
